![]() ![]() ![]() The game is very frantic, especially with managing timers. As I said, there are lots of people out there who love them. In 'traditional' Bullet Hell games, you tend to have one gun, which you just fire constantly, freeing up all your time, fingers and concentration to focus on avoiding all the 'bullets'.īut this all just my opinion, which is based on very limited experience with frantic, chaotic shooters, due to the fact that I don't like them, so rarely play them. Add in trying to watch cool-down timers at the same time as watch tons of 'bullets' at the same time, and it is all too much. ![]() Having to constantly keep moving with WASD and swapping spells at the same time is really hard. It's just all too much to manage at once. suits the frantic chaotic nature of a bullet hell situation. Personally, I don't think this games style, of frequently changing spells, charge up timers and cool-down timers etc. Some people love them, so if that is the kind of gameplay you are going for, there is no reason to change. Even after reducing the amount of damage enemies do by 90% Seems wildly unbalanced to me. Of course Bosses should be a difficulty spike, but to breeze through a level easily even the very first time playing the game, to then get destroyed by the Boss in less than 20 seconds, every time. but now I realise that boss fights are just mindless, chaotic 'Bullet Hell' I have completely lost all interest in playing. Was quite enjoying the game at first, it seemed to have quite a lot of tactical depth to it, with spell synergies etc. I decided to reduce damage down to 10% Still have no chance of winning even the first boss fight. After a few runs, which always ended in a boss fight which killed me in around 10 to 15 seconds. ![]() Very powerful upgraded spells, which were one-shotting enemies in the level, reduce the bosses health bar by one pixel. Screen filled with homing spells which NEVER stop tracking you and disappear. 8-10 adds, some of which are being made invulnerable by other adds. ![]()
